Special-purpose fume hood designed specifically for perchloric acid procedures. Based on the Defender-series superstructure, it features a one-piece Type 316 stainless steel interior with coved corners, integral work surface, and wash-down system. Regular wash-down cleanses perchloric salts into a full-length sloped trough contained in the work surface. This hood should be used for perchloric acid only.
