iQ Labs manufactures and supplies laboratory furniture and equipment, including fume hoods, steel casework, base cabinets, specialty cabinets, laboratory benches, tables, worksurfaces, and accessories. Our products support education, research, healthcare, government, industrial, and other laboratory environments.
Both. Many iQ Labs products are based on standard product families, sizes, and configurations. Depending on the product, options may include width, height, depth, sash type, cabinet configuration, worksurface material, plumbing, electrical provisions, accessories, and finish selections. Custom or modified configurations are reviewed during the quote process.
Yes. iQ Labs can help review product families, configuration options, documentation, and project requirements. For safety- or code-sensitive applications, final product selection should also be reviewed with the appropriate facility, safety, engineering, or design professionals.
iQ Labs supports end users, dealers, representatives, architects, designers, facility managers, lab managers, purchasing teams, contractors, and other project stakeholders involved in laboratory planning, furnishing, or equipment replacement.
Submit a project request with as much information as possible, including product type, quantity, dimensions, room layout, required utilities, worksurface preference, delivery location, and any drawings or specifications available. If you are not sure which product or configuration you need, include your project goals and site requirements. The iQ Labs team can help identify the information needed before quoting.
No. Drawings, room layouts, and specifications are helpful, but they are not required for the first conversation. If the project is still early, share what you know. The team can help identify what details are needed before final quoting or production.
Yes. Available documentation may include cut sheets, manuals, product drawings, specification sheets, and product-specific resources. Documentation availability depends on the product family and configuration. Contact iQ Labs if you need documents for review before quoting or purchasing.
Common quote factors include size, quantity, worksurface material, cabinet configuration, hood type, sash type, plumbing fixtures, electrical or data options, finish color, accessories, delivery requirements, and installation scope. For fume hoods, blower selection, airflow needs, and site conditions may also affect the final project requirements.
Standard paint colors are available for many metal products, and custom color-match options may be available depending on the product and project requirements. Confirm finish options during the quote process.
ADA-height options are available for selected products and configurations. Share accessibility requirements during the quote process so the correct product height, knee space, clearance, and layout considerations can be reviewed.
Yes. iQ Labs offers accessories and replacement parts such as shelves, slope tops, pull-out shelves, filler panels, knee-space components, table legs, and related hardware. Compatibility should be confirmed before ordering.
iQ Labs offers several fume hood types, including benchtop fume hoods, floor-mounted fume hoods, double-entry hoods, radioisotope hoods, and perchloric acid hoods. Available options vary by series and configuration.
The Defender Series is a benchtop fume hood designed for durable, flexible performance with standard features such as a galvanized steel superstructure, stainless steel sash frame, chemical-resistant liner, LED lighting, and multiple sash options. The AirGuard Pro Series is also a benchtop fume hood, with airflow-focused design features such as angled front posts and bypass technology. The right series depends on the application, required performance, budget, and project specifications.
Product documentation for certain fume hood series references ASHRAE 110 testing. Because standards and testing references depend on the hood series and configuration, iQ Labs can help confirm the applicable documentation for your specific project before quoting.
No. Standard fume hoods should not be used for perchloric acid or radioactive materials. Applications involving perchloric acid or radioactive materials require fume hoods specifically designed for those uses.
Not always. Depending on the fume hood and quote, items such as blowers, base cabinets, countertops, sash stops, air monitors, ceiling enclosures, plumbing fixtures, and electrical options may be separate options. Review the quote and product documentation to confirm what is included.
Available sash options may include vertical rising sash, horizontal sash, and combination sash configurations. Availability depends on the hood series and project requirements.
Yes. Fume hoods require proper installation and connection to building systems. Electrical work should be completed by a qualified electrician, and ductwork or blower systems should be installed and connected by qualified mechanical professionals. Before operation, airflow and system performance should be verified according to the project requirements and applicable safety practices.
Pro-Line Series casework is iQ Labs’ steel laboratory casework line. It includes base cabinets, wall cases, floor cases, mobile cabinets, sink bases, fume hood base cabinets, specialty cabinets, fillers, panels, and related accessories.
Pro-Line casework documentation references chemical-resistant epoxy powder coat, premium cold-rolled steel construction, removable backs and bottoms, full-extension heavy-duty ball-bearing slides, and stainless steel five-knuckle hinges. Exact construction details may vary by product type and configuration.
Yes. iQ Labs offers specialty storage cabinets, including acid storage cabinets and flammable storage cabinets. These products should be selected based on the materials being stored, facility requirements, and applicable safety review. Product-specific documentation should be reviewed before ordering.
A standard base cabinet is used for general lab storage and workstation support. A sink base is configured to accommodate sink and plumbing needs. A fume hood base is intended to support a fume hood and should be selected based on hood size, worksurface, storage needs, and project requirements.
Yes. iQ Labs offers multiple cabinet types, including base cabinets, mobile base cabinets, wall cases, wall corner cases, floor cases, and corner base cabinets. Availability depends on the product line and configuration.
The Infinity Bench System is a configurable laboratory bench system designed for flexible lab layouts. Documentation references height adjustability, integrated plumbing and electrical service options, quick-disconnect options, shared frame design, shelving options, glides or casters, and utility-related configurations.
Some bench systems, including the Infinity Bench System, are available with height-adjustable features. Exact height ranges and adjustment details depend on the product family and configuration.
Yes, depending on the bench system and project requirements. Infinity Bench documentation references plumbing and electrical chases, quick-disconnect plumbing fittings, electrical receptacles, integrated lighting options, and data receptacles. These options should be confirmed during quoting.
iQ Labs offers or references several worksurface material types, including phenolic resin, epoxy resin, Chemsurf laminate, laminated phenolic core, standard laminate, and stainless steel. The right worksurface depends on chemical exposure, heat exposure, durability needs, cleaning practices, budget, and project requirements.
Start with the intended use. Chemical exposure, heat exposure, moisture, staining risk, impact resistance, and cleaning requirements all affect material selection. If your application involves harsh chemicals, high heat, or specialized lab procedures, contact iQ Labs so the appropriate worksurface material can be reviewed before quoting.
Lead times vary by product type, configuration, order size, material availability, and production schedule. Standard products are typically 5-7 weeks after all required order details are complete. Custom products and special configurations are typically 7-10 weeks after required order details, drawings, approvals, and specifications are complete. Accessories, replacement parts, and separately shipped components vary by item and availability.
Lead times begin only after all required order details are complete. This may include final product selections, approved drawings or submittals when required, finish or color selection, option selection, payment or credit approval, and confirmed shipping information.
iQ Labs ships FOB origin. Freight is typically prepaid and added to the order. If an order does not ship prepaid and added, the customer must use their own carrier and sign the required release before shipment.
Large laboratory furniture, fume hoods, casework, worksurfaces, and assembled products typically ship by freight carrier. Smaller accessories and replacement parts may ship by parcel or freight depending on size, weight, fragility, and order configuration.
Freight charges quoted by iQ Labs include the services disclosed and planned at the time of quote. If the customer or dealer does not notify iQ Labs that liftgate service, limited-access delivery, appointment delivery, or other special handling is required, additional charges may be added after shipment.
Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery paperwork. Confirm the number of pallets, crates, cartons, or pieces; inspect packaging for visible damage; note any damage or shortage on the carrier paperwork before signing; take photos; and keep all packaging until the shipment has been fully inspected.
Concealed freight damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Preserve all packaging materials and submit the order number, photos of the shipment and damage, the signed bill of lading or delivery receipt, the delivery date, and a short description of the issue to sales@iq-laboratory.com.
The customer or dealer is responsible for ensuring the delivery site is ready to receive the shipment. If delivery cannot be completed because the site is not ready, access is unavailable, receiving equipment or personnel are not available, or the carrier is delayed due to site conditions, additional charges may apply. These may include storage, demurrage, carrier waiting time, failed delivery, re-delivery, appointment rescheduling, or other carrier-assessed fees.
Installation may be available depending on the written project scope. Unless specifically included in the quote, shipping does not include unloading, unpacking, assembly, installation, anchoring, leveling, utility connection, ventilation connection, plumbing, electrical work, ductwork, blower installation, airflow testing, certification, or disposal of packaging materials.
When direct installation by iQ Labs is included in the written project scope, the standard installation scope includes assembly, setting products in place, leveling, and site cleanup. Trade services are not included in the standard installation scope unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Electrical, plumbing, gas, mechanical, ductwork, ventilation, and certification work should be handled by qualified customer-provided contractors unless expressly included in writing.
The site should be accessible, safe, and ready for the products being delivered or installed. Required utilities, clearances, receiving equipment, personnel, and trade coordination should be arranged before the scheduled delivery or installation date.
Warranty coverage varies by product category, material, configuration, project requirements, or component type. Unless written order documentation states otherwise, warranty coverage begins on the invoice date. If a quote, order acknowledgment, written project document, or signed agreement states a different warranty term, that written documentation will control.
