LabConnect Dual-Entry Fume Hood

Dual-entry fume hood for education and demonstration settings where instructors and students need visibility or access from both sides. It is typically installed on island casework or in a wall between a classroom and prep room. The design uses opposing/interlocking sashes, concealed counterweights, removable side panels, and interior access panels to provide internal access while preventing both sashes from opening at the same time.

COMPLIANCE & SAFETY

What it meets

ASHRAE 110 containment-testing references, SEFA fume hood guidance, UL-related electrical review where applicable, and ANSI/AIHA Z9.5 ventilation planning context.

Why it matters

Where it applies

Use for lab layouts that require access from two sides. Final performance depends on hood configuration, ductwork, blower selection, room airflow, and field conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Is this quote-only?

Yes. Fume hoods should be quoted by configuration because width, liner, sash, services, blower, and base/countertop selections affect the final product.

Are blowers included?

Blowers are listed as optional equipment and should be sized to the hood and ductwork.

Can dimensions be customized?

Standard sizes are available on the cut sheets; custom sizes are available where noted and must be validated by iQ Labs.
